Main Purpose of the Job
This position reports to the Executive Director and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for KENET to support its member institutions and driving growth of uptake of KENET’s ICT services and solutions portfolio to new and existing customers.
Suitable candidate will proactively engage with KENET member institutions to identify their needs, specify them, and work with a team of communications and technical staff to deliver innovative solutions to better align KENET services with client needs.
Requirements for the Job
The ideal candidate shall have an MBA or equivalent and an undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with at least 15 years progressively responsible work experience with last appointment as a Chief Information Officer or equivalent levels in a medium-sized or large organization.
Recent experience in deployment of administrative information systems shall be an added advantage. The candidate should have ability to establish relationships, manage, influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and be results oriented to achieve set objectives and targets.
All candidates must have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, high ethical and moral standards and capable of working in teams with limited supervision.
